CLIENT: SOGEA SATOM KENYA

Envirolink Consultants Limited successfully under took environmental monitoring for on-going irrigation canal construction project located within the Mwea Irrigation scheme in Kirinyaga County by SogeaSatom Kenya. The scope included;

Environmental noise levels and Vibration levels monitoring as per EMCA (noise and excessive vibration pollution)(control), Regulations 2009;
Ambient air quality monitoring as per EMCA air quality regulations, 2014 for general pollutants relevant to the project: Particulate Matter (PM_2.5 and PM₁₀), Sulphur Dioxide (SO₂), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂), Total Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Carbon dioxide (CO₂);
Soil and water monitoring (sampling and analysis) as per EMCA on water quality regulations 2006;
Reporting on the level of compliance with the relevant regulations i.e. EMCA regulations on Air quality, 2014; Noise & excessive vibration pollution control, 2009; and Water quality, 2006.

CLIENT: CHINA CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION LTD

Envirolink Consultants Limited successfully under took environmental monitoring for China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation road construction works for the Miritini – Mwache – Kivepu link road.

The scope included;

Air quality monitoring, involving measurement of concentrations of VOCs, SO_x, NO_x, Ozone and PM₁₀ at a four months interval
Noise levels monitoring of the project activities in relation to the receptors exposed to the noise such as residence homes, offices, and social amenities.
Marine water sampling and analysis at selected points along the sea line where road constructions were on-going to ensure environment good practice, effective water quality monitoring and management.
Reporting on the level of compliance with the relevant regulations i.e. EMCA regulations on Air quality, 2014; Noise & excessive vibration pollution control, 2009; and Water quality, 2006.
